The
breath is the junction point between the conscious
and the unconscious mind. Early in life we
learn to suppress our emotions physically by tensing
muscles and restricting our breath. As time
passes this protective process becomes chronic and
automatic. We begin to repress all feelings and
emotions. This lack of expression robs us of
energy and experiencing the positive feelings of
joy, love and pleasure.
